Nokia 2330 Classic

Tools required: Torx 4 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar plectrum or credit card.

* Remove your back cover, battery and sim. Two screws need to be removed, circled belo
  • Run something like a credit card along the right side of the join of the front cover to release it from the rest of the phone.
With the front cover removed your phone should look like below. Next remove the five screws, circled below.
You should now be able to lift the main part of the phone away from the housing. You now need to release the metal frame. It's held to the circuit board with a number of clips around the edge that you need to pry away to release the frame.
With the metal frame removed your phone should look like below. Turn the circuit board over. A ribbon connector (circled) needs to be disconnected. It attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever this up to unplug.
The LCD screen will now be loose and can be removed, as shown below. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly. Once you've repaired your phone, protect it against future damage, breakdown or theft from only 5p per day with insurance specialists, ProtectYourBubble.
